A beautiful native perennial. The bright blue tubular flowers help attract pollinators like bees and butterflies! This deer resistant perennial does best in well draining soils and has a fragrant lemon scent when brushed against or crushed.

Fun Facts:
– Native to the U.S., upper Midwest and Great Plains
– Dried leaves can be added to potpourri
– Genus name comes from the Greek words ‘agan’ meaning ‘very much’ and ‘stachys’ meaning an ear of wheat, in reference to the flower spikes.
