Fung-onil will control a variety of diseases: leaf spots, rust, blights, fruit rots, mildews, scabs and molds.

Rhizosphaera Needle Cast is a fungus disease that is causing heavy casualties of Blue Spruce trees in our region. The leaves of lower branches turn brown, killing the branches. The disease slowly works its way up the tree. For those trees already infected there is little that can be done. However, you can protect new young Blue Spruce trees from becoming infected with a very carefully timed application(s) of the fungicide Chlorathalonil in the spring. Make your first application when the new needles are about 50% of normal length, about an inch. Make the second application 3 to 4 weeks later. If we are having a very wet, rainy year a third application may be made 3 to 4 weeks following the second application. Bonide Fungonil contains Chlorathalonil.
