A cold-hardy, male holly with a dense habit and small, glossy, blue-green leaves. The evergreen foliage takes on a burgundy tint during the winter months. Naturally forms a tidy, compact, rounded shape that seldom needs pruning. Excellent for foundation plantings and low hedges.

TIPS ON CARE:

• Sun to part shade
• Prepare the soil by mixing 2/3 soil, 1/3 White Oak Organic Planting Mix and the recommended amount of Bio-Tone Starter Plus fertilizer
• Check the plant for water every 3-4 days. If the soil under the mulch is dry go ahead and give it a good drink
• Add a 2″ layer of mulch, being sure mulch does not come into contact with the trunk
