Our dyed black hardwood mulch retains its black color all season long. Mulching helps keep weeds out, soil moist and makes for a great soil amendment after decomposition.

Each scoop is two thirds of a yard and is equal to nine, two cubic foot bags (also available).

For newly landscaped beds we recommend a 2 inch depth of mulch for moisture retention, weed prevention and the best appearance. For existing previously mulched beds we recommend a 1 inch depth of mulch.
