Description
The long, bluish needles of Concolor Fir are showy and soft to the touch.
The needles emit a sweet citrus-like fragrance.
Native to the western U.S. — California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico — typically in higher mountain ranges.
Sometimes called “the citrus tree” of Christmas — people often say it smells like oranges, lemons, or tangerines.
Long-lived species; some concolor firs have been dated to over 300 years.
Needles grow in a soft, blue-green curve, giving it a unique look.
Soft, silvery-blue needles and a refreshing scent make it a standout. Branches are moderately strong — good for standard ornaments. Excellent needle retention.
