Hydrangea ‘Limelight Prime’
In a very short time, Limelight hydrangea became one of the most popular plants ever – but that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t room for improvement. So we’ve spent years developing this new selection that does everything better than the original, from bud to bloom and beyond. Bolder color, as the green blooms age, they develop pink and red tones that are far more vivid and showy than conventional panicle hydrangeas.
TIPS ON CARE:
- Sun to part shade
- Prepare the soil by mixing 2/3 soil, 1/3 White Oak Organic Planting Mix and the recommended amount of Bio-Tone Starter Plus fertilizer
- Check the plant for water every 3-4 days. If the soil under the mulch is dry go ahead and give it a good drink
- Add a 2″ layer of mulch, being sure mulch does not come into contact with the trunk
