Originating from the self-pollinated seed of the plant H. ‘Low Down’, ‘Autumn Gold’ really shines with a carpet of 2″ diameter blooms with yellow rays and dark brown center cones. Attractive foliage and massive September – October bloom make this an excellent addition to any pollinator garden!

Sun Exposure: Full sun

Prefers average, well-drained soils. Grows best with added moisture but can tolerate drought. Allow seed heads to remain for winter food for birds. Divide clumps in spring or fall every 3 to 4 years.
