Cheers to our 2020 Graduates

Category: Store News & Events | Posted by: White Oak Gardens

We’d like to introduce our 2020 graduates!

We couldn’t be more proud of these graduates.

They are smart.
They are kind.
They are hard working.
And they make us proud in the way they represent White Oak Gardens.

It is a pleasure to watch them bloom and grow.

Mason graduated from Mount St. Joseph University with a degree in Marketing. He plans to return to the Mount in the fall to pursue his MBA. Mason joined White Oak Gardens in 2019 as a member of our retail store team. He is one of 7 kids and as a family they enjoy camping, boating and travel throughout the year. He earned his Eagle Scout in 2017. Mason loves plants, gardening, and yard work, which makes White Oak Gardens a great fit for him and us!

Zach graduated from Mount St. Joseph University with a BA in Fine Arts and a minor in Photography. He has plans to one day open his own photography studio. He joined White Oak Gardens in 2016 and is a member of our nursery team. In his free time Zach likes to spend time training Jayla, his rescue shepherd mix and collecting pocket knives.

Abby graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She started as a piano player at the age of 8 and then joined band class in sixth grade as a French horn player and continued playing music through college. She was part of the Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble and Symphony Youth Orchestra and took part in several trips, including one to Sydney Australia to perform. Abby hopes to find a job in the area teaching band, orchestra, or general music classes in a public school. Abby joined the White Oak team in 2016 as a member of our retail store team and that has opened a new hobby to her, gardening and collecting houseplants.

Emily is graduating from Colerain High School with Cum Laude and an Academic Honors Diploma. She will be attending Miami University in the fall, studying Psychology and Violin Performance. She has been playing the violin for seven years and has grown an interest in Music Therapy. Emily is a member of our retail store team, joining us in April of 2020.

Emma is graduating from Colerain High School and plans to attend Miami University, Hamilton Campus where she will study Communication Design and minor in Studio Arts. She joined White Oak in April 2019 as a member of our greenhouse team where she enjoys seeing new houseplants to add to her collection. In her spare time Emma loves to paint in her favorite medium, watercolor. One of her pieces of art will be on permanent display at Colerain High School. Her plan for the future is to work in graphic design with a side hustle selling her artwork.
